Guillaume Dasquie is an investigative journalist. He has authored numerous articles and has written books on intelligence and terrorism. He currently writes for Libération.
Dasquie was Editor-in-Chief of the intelligence newsletter Intelligence Online from 1999-2003. He was also previously research director at the Institut de Relations Internationales et Stratégiques and taught at the University of Marne-la-Vallée. He worked as a journalist for the French networks Canal + and BFM.
Dasquie was arrested in 2007 on charges of publishing classified information after writing an article in le Monde about French intelligence suspecting an al-Qaeda attack nine months before the 911 attacks. He was released a few days after his arrest.
