U.S. trained pilot and 2-star General of the Iraqi Air Force during Saddam Hussein’s regime, Georges Hormiz Sada is recognized for his military accomplishments. As a born again Christian, Sada was the only General in the Iraqi service who was not of Muslim faith or a member of the Baathe party.
In 2003, after the U.S.-led Iraq invasion, Sada sided with the U.S. serving as interim leader Iyad Allawi’s spokesman. In January 2006 he released the book Saddam's Secrets: How an Iraqi General Defied and Survived Saddam Hussein.
