3. Biography:

John Miller began his career as an investigative journalist in New York City. He left journalism to become the Deputy Commissioner and Chief Spokesman for the NYPD.

Miller returned to journalism in 1995, joining ABC News as a correspondent. He conducted a rare interview with Osama bin Laden in 1998 and co-anchored 20/20 with Barbara Walters in 2002.

In 2003, Miller went to work for the LAPD in the areas of counterterrorism, criminal intelligence, and major crimes. He then worked for the FBI as the Assistant Director for Public Affairs, the Bureau’s top spokesman, a position he held until 2009.

Miller is currently serving in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence as the Assistant Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Analytic Transformation and Technology.
