3. Biography:

Samuel M. Katz is an author, documentary filmmaker, and public speaker. He has authored over 22 books and more than a hundred articles dealing with international terrorism, the Middle East, and police and military special operations. 

His articles have appeared in Playboy, Esquire, and Jane’s Intelligence Review. He is, as of 2010, Editor-in-Chief of Special Ops, a journal dedicated to profiles of military and law enforcement special operations units worldwide

In addition to his writing, Katz has also directed documentaries for Discovery Channel, A&E, and The Learning Channel. 

He lectures to law enforcement agencies around the country on issues such as the history of Palestinian and Islamic fundamentalist terrorism. He has lectured to the U.S. State Department Diplomatic Security Service, FBI, Secret Service, ATF, U.S. Customs Service, among many others.
